Hi, I’m Becky Castañeda, a freelance illustrator and published author based in Switzerland. I’m the artist behind BeckyCas Illustration and represented by Lemonade Illustration Agency.

I started sharing my artwork online in 2018, and what began as a hobby quickly grew into my full-time work, with a community of over 150,000 people on social media.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work with well-known publishers around the world, and I continue to illustrate children’s books, something I truly love. I’ve also published a book on how to create kawaii illustrations (now available in four languages!) and co-created a best-selling online course.

These days, I’m mostly working on children’s books and client projects, creating illustrations that feel soft, joyful, and full of little details, all with the goal of bringing a bit of magic into each story.​
